Marie Sparkes - Founder of Pure Potential®
Marie leads the Social Interventions Company in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica. The company offers therapeutic and educational resource services that are thought-filled and strategic. Marie entered the profession of Social Work in 1988 as a Residential Counsellor for The London Consortium. She achieved an Advanced Diploma in Management and was promoted to Senior Management in 1991 where she served until 1994. Her first Directorship was in 1994 as The Assistant Director responsible for Therapeutic Programs for London’s Cumberlow Community. During the mid 1990’s Marie became active at a national level through her employment as a Manager and as a National Core Group Member of Barnardos and its Black Workers Forum.  Marie has diplomas in Therapeutic Practice and a further post graduate diploma in Training the Trainer from the Kingswood Institute, situating her well for private consultancy in which she was awarded Social Services, Education and Youth Offending Services contracts nationally.
Eva Forde

Eva  is one of our Master Facilitators and the director and founder of our sister company, Positive Solutions International – a company which endeavours to promote the regularised use of social workers in Jamaica through education, training, and the provision of Social Work staffing in Jamaica.

Eva holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama, USA and Masters of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from Columbia University in New York, USA. She is currently a lecturer at Northern Caribbean University where she serves as the Coordinator for the Social Work Program. She is also the central regional representative of the Jamaica Association of Social Workers (JASW) and has a passion for social work training.

Cleopatra Dixon specialises in body therapies and is our Kemetic Yoga instructor.  She is also the web developer and our administrator. Cleopatra holds a BEd (Hons) and a MSc in Computing.

Facilitators

Davey Haughton is the President of the United Students Movement and a Psychology Major at Northern Caribbean University Jamaica. Davey is also our facilitator who specialises in working with groups of men and boys.

Magalia Thomas is a qualified Social Worker who facilitates our groups for girls.

International Consultants

Jennie Levers is a UKCP qualified counsellor and supervisor who   coordinator a Domestic Violence Unit. She is also consultant to the UK Probation Officers Associations.

Geoff Warr  is our Safety First oversea consultant he visits delivers a Safety First program annually in Jamaica.
